A Churqa is a small glass skimmer that is used commonly by the Glass Sailors of the Shining Lands to traverse their realm. They are similar in most respects to the larger Xogat, but only hold around four to five people and their luggage. They also use outrigger arms that are attached to steel runners fitted with oiled pads to "sail" over the uneven glass of the realm. Large sails billow out to either side of the vessel. There was a singular steel runner based at the prow and two more based on either side of the stern, which were all controlled by the tiller.
Because of the smaller size, a churqa is faster and far more agile than a Xogat, but is equally as dangerous to navigate throughout the Shining Lands, and also cannot traverse any areas choked with black sands.
