The Golden Orb was a large bomb that was made of gold and weighed about one hundred pounds. Two halves were created, one with an explosive powder in it and the other with a glass jar made of an elixir. The two halves were then welded together and used with a catapult. When launched, the Orb would fly through the air and when it crashed into what it was thrown at the jar would break and the elixir and power would mix together causing a massive explosion.

Dimorian Fallabrine was the one who created them, and with them they were known to have destroyed the Hornet and Dimorian sacrificed himself with one and destroyed the ogre fortress of Dracoheim.
